Omega Chi Epsilon
Welcome to the Omega Chi Epsilon homepage!
Here you will find links to the forms required for record keeping and requests for chapter supplies, graduation paraphernalia, and awards. Members can learn what national and other chapters are doing. The mechanism for forming a new chapter is described. Additionally, you will find links to other chemical engineering resources.
Please keep us informed of your chapter activities so that we may share them with other chapters around the country. Additionally, if you have any questions about these web pages or the information contained therein, please send email.
IRS Tax InformationWe remind you to file your 990-N form annually if you have obtained an Employer Identification Number (EIN) for your chapter. Failure to do so for three consectutive years results in automatic revocation of your tax-exempt status. Click here to start the filing process.
Prior to 2007, organizations with receipts less than $25,000 did not have to file a 990-series form. However, organizations with receipts less $50,000 must do so now. Additionally, if you have received a tax-exempt determination previously but are now a subordinate of the national organization, your prior determination is not effective and is replaced by that of the national organization. If you have any questions regarding tax regulations, please contact the Treasurer.
The 990-N submitted by Omega Chi Epsilon to the IRS is open to public inspection here.
